Nestled on 13 acres on Lake Mamanasco in scenic Ridgefield, Ct. (60 miles north of New York City), this former Jesuit house was acquired in 1979. At that time, St. Ignatius Retreat House served as St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary for the International Priestly Society of St. Pius X. In 1988, due to the growing number of seminarians, St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary relocated to Winona, MN and St. Ignatius Retreat house was established as the principal Retreat House for the District of the United States. Hundreds of priests, seminarians, laity and students have attended retreats and have passed through our halls. Located on site is Christ the King Church, and  Padre Pio Academy. Currently, St. Ignatius Retreat House is home to 4 priests, 1 Monsignor, and 3 brothers. The priests who reside here minister to various chapels in the Northeast. Please come visit us for a retreat, support our school, and pray for our Apostolate. May God Bless you.

     Sincerely,

Rev. Fr. Jean Violette - Prior
