Curriculum

The curriculum for kindergarten through eighth grade includes the following subjects:  Religion, Language Arts (Learning to Read and Write, English Grammar, Dictation, Literature, Composition), Latin, History, Geography, Mathematics, Nature Study and Science, Music, Art and Physical Education.  These will be taught at the appropriate developmental level for each grade.

Music (sacred and secular), Poetry, Art, and Drama—are an important part of the curriculum.  The school encourages performing skits, copying and drawing pictures, dramatizing poetry and singing, along with creative projects and presentations in all subjects. Students are also encouraged to participate in the annual school dramatic productions performed during the Christmas season and at the end of the scholastic year.

As is necessary for any child, recess is also an important part of the curriculum. Learning different sports or simply giving the mind the time to relax for a short time is paramount to a well-balanced education process.
